To register for the placement:
Step 1: Complete and submit a Conservation Volunteer Application Form. We'll then evaluate your suitability for the volunteering role and get back to you regarding your application outcome. We may request a short interview via Skype at this stage, depending on the nature of the volunteer work involved during your desired volunteering term. We'll also let you know whether we can facilitate you if you have any special needs or requirements.
Step 2: Once your initial application in Step 1 has been approved, we'll then send you the relevant police clearance (garda vetting) forms and work placement disclaimers. If the volunteer also wishes to attend an English language course as an add on option, we'll also email you the relevant registration forms for ATC English Language School. You will need to complete and sign the documents and discuss any concerns that you may have with a member of our team before proceeding to the next step. You'll also need to validate your identity at this stage by sending us a copy of your passport or driver's license.
Step 3: We will then send you an invoice by email; you will need to make a 50% deposit to secure your place, with the remainder due on or before your day of arrival. Payments can be made by cheque, bank transfer or online through Paypal (you will receive instructions regarding payment in the invoice and via email). We will contact you with a booking receipt to confirm your place on the placement following receipt of payment. Please note that 7 days' notice is required for rescheduling (subject to availability) or cancelling bookings. Cancellation within the 7 day period will forfeit the deposit.
