Resources for Teachers

Resources for Primary School Teachers

School tours and workshops

Our Ocean School joined the Marine Institute’s Explorers Education Programme in 2018 and we are delighted to be providing Seashore Safari and Marine Project modules to primary schools in the Dublin and Wicklow areas this year.  All these workshops are kindly funded by the Marine Institute and are provided free of charge to schools.

We also receive a certain amount of funding for educational roadshows around Ireland each year through various environmental programmes, eg. the Agenda 21 Programme run by local authorities, so please do get in touch if you are interested in a workshop for your school. We love being able to facilitate teachers who are interested in including the marine environment as a theme for their lesson plans!

We’ll be adding more resources for teachers here soon so please do keep an eye on the site for updates.  In the meantime please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
